Our clients Film

Documentary film. Stories that take time to tell.

We make documentaries, docuseries and shorts with filmmakers and studios, from the first treatment to the festival cut.

How we think about it

Patience is part of the job.

Documentaries, docuseries and shorts take time, and we like it that way. We bring a decade in the field to stories that need room to breathe, whether we're the whole crew or an extra set of hands on someone else's film.

Here's the short version:

  1. 01

    Who we work with

We work with documentary filmmakers, producers, festivals and studios.

  2. 02

    How we help

We can be the whole crew from treatment to delivery, or an extra set of hands for the shoot or the edit.

  3. 03

    What we make

We make documentaries, docuseries and shorts for festivals, streaming and broadcast.

  4. 04

    Where it plays

Our films have played at festivals, on streaming services and on broadcast.

A documentary needs people who can work quietly for weeks, and our founders have run sets for a decade. The best moments come once people forget the camera is there, so we earn their trust before we roll. When it's time to finish, we do color, sound and delivery to spec for festivals, streaming or broadcast. Here are a few of the films we've made:

What they said

“They came in last-minute for a short film project and were amazing! Super high quality, professional and creative problem solvers when things didn't go to plan (as they sometimes tend to do on set).”

Questions

What people usually ask us.

These two questions come up in almost every first call:

Can you join our documentary as crew?

Yes. You can hire us as the full crew from treatment to delivery, or as extra hands for field production or post.

Have you made a docuseries?

We have. Your Voice, Your Power is a 10-part docuseries on tribal voting that we made with ITCA Native Vote over a year, and it has already played at the NatiVisions Film Festival and the Heard Museum.

Fields

Where we've done it.

Most of our work for film happens in the first few of these, and we bring the same care to all of them:

We'd love to hear your story.

Tell us what you're working on, even if it's only a hunch so far. We'll find out whose story it really is, and then we'll help you tell it. The easiest way to start is to write to us here:
